Kyma is a feed reader. The short version: your reading data exists to make your own reading better, it is never sold, and you can export or delete it.
What we store
Your email address and display name. The feeds you subscribe to and the streams you sort them into. Your reading activity - which headlines you saw, opened, marked read, starred or summarised - kept to power unread state, search and, in time, personal ranking of your own list. Session cookies to keep you signed in; no advertising or analytics trackers.
Who else touches it
Hosting on Hetzner (Germany), with encrypted off-site backups. Email (invites, password resets, digests you opt into) via Amazon SES (Ireland). If you press Summarise, that article's text - never your identity or reading history - goes to Anthropic's API to generate the summary. Traffic passes through Cloudflare. Translation runs on our own server and leaves it to nobody.
Your data, your call
Export your subscriptions (OPML) and your full activity history (CSV) from Settings at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, or for anything else: [email protected].
